In 2008, researchers at University of California, San Francisco used Cayuse 424 to submit their proposal for a randomized controlled trial of a positive affect skills intervention for people newly diagnosed with HIV. Their study, IRISS (Intervention for those Recently Informed of their Seropositive Status), was funded, conducted, and eventually published in the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology.
